About this position
Folwell Center is looking for a Digital Media Designer, this person will work closely with the Technology Architect and be responsible for the design and implementation of print, web, and audio/video design. The designer must be proficient in the following technologies/software:
- all Adobe design software; mainly photoshop, illustrator, indesign, flash, and dreamweaver
- comfortable with writing and reading HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- working in a windows PC network environment
- Office software: mainly excel and word.
On the non-technical side of requirements, the designer should be able to:
- have excellent communication skills, the designer should be able to write and verbally communicate the vision of a non-technical designer/and or staff members while working on a project
- want or have an interest in public art
- be passionate about technology and design
- have a strong interest in the community betterment through art and technology
- stay informed of all design-related technologies and trends
